Project Duavata | Fiji Wild Coffee
Americans and Fijians working together in a village

More Than
Coffee.

A cup from the highlands of Fiji.

Part of a much bigger story.

The story behind the coffee

Project Duavata is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on over a decade of partnership with Fijian villages. Fiji Wild Coffee grew out of that relationship — what started through friendship and shared life has become something bigger than coffee alone.

We lean on them. They lean on us. Both sides holding up their end. Both sides changed by what they're building together.

The word behind the vision

Duavata doo-ah-VAH-tah

In Fijian, duavata means working together — united in purpose. Project Duavata is the larger vision behind this coffee: building real bridges between Fijian villages and people around the world. Partnership, not charity from a distance. Relationship, not transaction.

How it comes to life

01

Wild Coffee

Village pickers head into the highlands. Their work creates real income and a livelihood that didn't exist before this partnership.

02

Village Projects

Practical needs in real communities — housing, infrastructure, and initiatives that matter to the people who live there.

03

Experiencing Fiji

Cold showers. Different food. A slower pace. Genuine ways for people to connect with Fijian life and culture.

04

Real Stories

Honest storytelling that honors the people behind the partnership — pickers, families, and friendships built over a decade.
